Default scraped my wheels

hey guys gess wot the worst thing happened today. It started with the top level of the penrith westfieldf which is like 4 levels high i started at the top and went down to the next level then the next and then the next and for some reason i started to get dizzy and joked about it to my friend and then on the last one i miss judged and put a big scatch in my right hand wheel. Its it goes for half the wheel and i am about to cry lol.

does anybody no if i can get this fix at all or will i need to buy a new rim

hey are the pics(it doesnt look as bad as the pic cause i took umm at night and the scrape stands out)

probably be best to buy a new wheel, repairs are expensive. You could keep that as a spare. I know how it feels to scrape a nice wheels, eventually you get over it though.

I get paranoid driving the Territory down those ramps ... it gets a tad narrow in that.
Although my carpark at work is narrower ... but I am used to it driving the ute around there.

I did something similar in a stupid Macca's drive thru (it wasnt as bad though). I filed / sanded the rough edges back so it wasnt as noticeable and use it as a spare. I dont know why it may be illegal though unless its cracked or bent out of shape?

Ouch.
A pothole took a bite of one of my rims a few months ago (thankfully that one was already slightly scratched from the previous owner, and is the only one damaged), but my plan is to get another one, and use the damaged one as the spare.

Bad luck man, that rim looks pretty shot.

But i can understand how it happens, you only have to a bit fatigued or distracted when levaing those carparks and you can bugger a wheel. The older carparks seem even worse and by the time you've navigated 6 or so floors it gets pretty monotionus.

Hey there fella that can be repaired, Send a PM to FPV GT he had scraped his one really bad one night we all thought it was beyond repair, as it was a very deep gouge in the edge of the rim aswell as some nasty gouges in the actual spoke. He had it repaired from the place where he bought them from and you can not tell it was damaged in anyway. They are also Shadow chrome.

If you want it looking perfect, the new option is the go, or just try and clean it up a bit.

you could get that tig'd up and polished, but you'd have to polish the rest of your rims to match, unless you know a good painter.

if its warped well i dont know, but i could fix that scrape

That wheel is definatley repairable...my girlfriend had similar damage to a wheel of hers and she got it fixed, couldn't buy a new one cause there a discontinued wheel, but after repairs, looks like new now...price of new wheel was $210, price to get fixed was $250...as you can see it prob is not worth it...
