Hi All,
I know that it is a common problem with the 3.5mm aux input socket in the console and I have managed to make boh speakers work with a bit of creative lateral thinking (stuck a toothpick in with the plug to assist with connection!).. The problem I seem to be having now is that it sounds like the signal is out of phase.. I am happy to pull apart the console to have a look at the wiring but I cant find the website that explains the steps. Has anyone solved the same issue or have any insights as to how to remove the panel around the gear shifter? Many thanks in advance! |

Pretty sure it's just plastic clips, getting your fingers under it should click them off. All I can say is check for loose wires but remember there is power going to them.

hi,
i also had a similar issue, sound only coming out of one speaker sometimes. just took the console cover off, removed the jack from underneath...it is held with pressure clips. i then reset the vertical metal contact by prising over with a jewellers screwdriver, thereby increasing pressure when inserted, and viola all fixed. about a year ago had to do this and so far all good. |
