What do you think a 1989 EA Spac with 5-speed manual is worth? Apparently about 170k on the clock. I'm just about to run off and get it. My gut feeling is that it's good if it looks straight. No reg or roadworthy, have to do that myself. Have put the mechanics trolley and floor jack in to suss it out properly. It would be great if some of you guys could give me a ballpark figure rather soon.

1200 to 1800 if the paint looks ok but see if you can get a drive of it, listen for rattles and werring sounds in any of the gears. also release and power the accelerator a few times at constant speed to see if the diff has any play in it. see how much play is in the steering and how it feels and handles then decide wether it's worth buying

dont know what it'd be worth.... 1000- 2000 dependant on condition.
if the body etc is in great nick then it'd be worth getting, you can always put a later engine in it if its r00ted....... |

Well hi guys. Brian bought me the car - he paid $800 for it. Good set of tyres, steering rack sweet as, 170k on the clock, 5 speed, excellent upholstery, great paintwork, has a carbi, no multipoint. I think it's a good car to put gas into, since the other 2 work wagons are rather hungry on fuel. I'll get him to go out and take some photos of my car. Maybe I'll join your club! Robin.

Well, roadworthy time. Rear lower control arm bushes - both ends, rear shocks - put a set of Munroes on, front disc pads - had a of a time pushing back the left piston, might have to rebuild that one, windscreen washer motor, adjust right headlight, wiggle the lead going to the left indicator, but I've gotta get the reverse lights going - haven't got that far. I just want to go back and play with my manifold for the other car.
