Default Best Photoshot spots of your car?

hey guys,
wanted to know where are good places to take pictres of your car around melb/city and show some pics i you want. cheers

ps. would like to know where effalcon and that fairlane went to take pics of their cars with the city in the background ,on some peir.

go to mt dandenong, there are some lookout spots that look out over silvan dam, im going up there today, so ill get some pics, ill post later.
good views, u can see great dividing range, and at sky high, you can see port philip bay.

There are cameras all over the place that take pretty pictures of your car! There is a photography fee though, and they use some funny points system too.

The West Gate should give some OK shots of the city + your car in transit ;) ;)

Go to new estates with lakes. I take mine down to Waterways in keysborough near me and park up on the grass next to the lake

Also some pretty little camerars infront of some cars parked beside the road. They took a photo of a mates car the other day, turned out well, dont know what the fine was for tho. :

I agree with niko, with a overcast day you get less reflections and less sun reflections bouncing back at the camera. Darker coloured cars always look darker too

Once the new years caper is over, are some of the SA boys keen to find somewhere nice to go get some good photos of their machines? I know of some nice places up Gorge road but if others have some ideas im sure we can make a day of it.

as said, overcast days or dawn and dusk are the best for the most of us camera noobies without all the filters and other gear.

"The light is at its most dramatic. It lacks the harsh contrasts of midday sun. Lower light can be used to evoke a special mood and feel"

Find a nice spot and take a picture in the late arvo and it will look 100% better than when the sun has over exposed the car on some panels

next to buildings with tinted windows which act like mirrors are an awsome backgroung i reckon.
