Default Mc Donalds Monopoly game

This should be a thread where we match up pieces so we can win prizes, rewarding ourselves for poor eating habits.
Does anyone have Park Lane, and want to go halves in a Kia Rio?

Lets see... they have 1 Kia to give away (not counting the instant win)

So how many thousand Mayfair tickets do you think they've printed and how many Park Lane's ?

(psst, it's a trick question )

Ive done this game before. The only thing Ive won is a gut ache and many trips to the gym. Its a scam. You'll be lucky to win anything more than a free shake or fries.

Won three game downloads, one music download, one sausage mcmuffin, one small fries or apple bag and one small sundae.

Useful when two adults order two large meals... 8 tokens straight up.

I won't be participating in their crap this time after the big fiasco a few years back.
I was part of the class action and they were guilty as hell.
All we got out of it was a $100 food voucher.
They stuffed up and everyone that played the game and won got screwed.

Yep its a scam, last time i missed out because you have to send in for the prize, if it has already been claimed or reached there limits you win nothing. So you think you win when you match two or three up, send them in, and then they tell you that all those prizes have been claimed.

You go into a draw to win, it doesnt mean you instantly win it. For obvious reasons there are more than 1 instant win tokens for the car even though there is only 1 car to give away.

Something like that I think.

If you were to read the ToC's there would be all of it in there, it is up to you to read it. It is McDonald's, they are going to have a good legal team make the rules.

regardless of T&C if they say you have won an item there must be no purchase needed or they are misleading you by saying it is a prize. they use T&C as a bluff and it cons most people but if you pursue it they will be forced to give you your prize with no strings attached

That's the excuse McDonalds used to try and get out of the fact that they stuffed up and printed too many winning tickets.

They said that everyone that won major prizes had kept their old tickets from the previous year and combined them with the current ones.

What a crock. Who keeps old losing coupons for a year in the hope that they will be good again.

I know that I didn't use any tickets from the previous year because my car was used for a wedding car in between competitions and it was cleaned and polished within an inch of it's life, including the glove box.
I had no other tickets other than the ones for that year that said I had won a playstation and a video camera.

The ACCC was going OK against them for while and then they gave up the case when McDonalds appointed a world beating QC to continue the fight.

No more poor excuse for burgers for me.

One of my mates is a franchise of McDonalds, he has a couple of them.

He basically said, anyone who wants to challenge them in court and such will never win, They will keep fighting it with the best solicitors, until 1 party is out of money, you can guess who runs out of money first.

Their burgers have only gotten smaller and worse over the years. A big mac is two bites. Haven't visited a Mcdonalds for years, and I never will again.
