Does anyone have a wiring diagram, including pinouts, for an EF with mid series sound? I have here a deck out of an NF lane, along with the stacker - I have one of the connectors, can match those wires up ok, but there is an additional connector, which presumably is for connecting either the amp or the rear speakers - i need to know the pinouts!
Also, were steering wheel audio controls available on EF/EL models, or was that only introduced on AUs? |

www.fordmods.com should have what you're after?
steering wheel controls were AU EF's had 2 plugs, one for power etc and front speakers, and the other for rear speakers.

Yeah, I checked ford mods - weird part about it is, the connector I am missing is a 7 pin connector, but fordmods states only 4 pins are used? + LH - LH + RH - RH... i thought the others may have been for steering wheel controls. But if the car never had them, then it makes sense!
Cheers for that, I'll have to go down to JRs and grab the connector. |

I got it installed in about half an hour yesterday without buying no amp wiring kit - i used cables i had and looms from the Ghia, so there. :P Just gotta get some more speaker cable and i'll run the fronts through the amp also, then I'll think about upgrading the power supply. Incidentally, you mentioned you had the wiring diagram! Where is it, huh? |
