Does anyone know of a list, that would have the engine numbers for the pre 1970 xw gt's. (Windsor)

What I'd like to know is how to track down the GT motor removed from my car in 1977, GL 2225 C. Would like to find it.

You will have to go to your local transport department and request a freedom of information search on that engine number. It will cost you a fee and I believe it only works for the state your in and if that engine is listed in their records still.
