Hi all.
After a couple of posts, thought I (well, we actually) had better intro ourselves...

Brett & Nicole (Nikk).

Members of the FPV & XR Club of Vic.
Best club we've ever been in!!

I (Brett) drive a BAII XR8 ute in Rapid Yellow.
Nikk drives an AUII XR8 sedan in Venom Red.

Some may know her by the plates on her car.....
MRS XR8

Ohh, we've got a couple of other toys, including an 'under 2lt sports sedan' race car, but we won't bore you all with those, seeing as they aren't Fords!!

As you can probably tell by the user name, I'm a HUGE fan of the Group C touring car days, to the point of building a Dick Johnson XE Falcon replica with my old man for some sprint work.

anyway, we'd heard of the forum from other club members, liked what we saw, and here we are.
Glad to be aboard.

Sounds like my reputation preceeds me...
It's OK, at the moment, but it's done a few 'weird' things in the last few weeks, : that haven't happened since, so I guess I'll see how it goes.
If it dies again, they (Ford) will just have to throw another one at it...
But it's the arms-length list of 'issues', including the trans, that continue with it that annoy me the most. :yeees:
Thank god for warranties!!

Brute6 - maaaaaaate, you should know me better than that!! She WAS looking over my shoulder, saying "Yeah, typical..."

Des - It's only been painted in the last few months, and we simply haven't had time to signwrite it yet.
Ohh, and it's blue with the red front spoiler, like DJ's 82 'Red Roo Pipe' car, so the signage will be the same as that. I'll get some pics on when it's all done, which will hopefully be before the 1st round of the club series on Feb.12.

And thanks to all for the welcome.
