Hey im competeing in my first Andra event this weekend at the Nostalgia meet
Just wanna make sure the cars upto specs From what i understand its Harness , Tailshaft loop , battery isolator upto 11sec Am i missing anything ? Cheers guys |

Licence. Divisional ANDRA Day Licence will be issued to those who do not need to hold a permanent ANDRA Drag Race Licence. You must hold or have held a current civil drivers licence. Protective Clothing. Helmets: All vehicles SLOWER than 10.99 seconds (1/4 mile) helmet to AS1698, 1974/1998 Standard. Long sleeved upper garment. (Open cars to have Leather or a recognised Motorcycle riding jacket) long pants, covered shoes and socks. Your Vehicle Ensure all fluids can be contained within the vehicle. Tail shaft loops for cars running QUICKER than 10.99 seconds (1/4 mile). (recommended all cars) Minimum 3 point lap sash for cars 11.00 seconds and SLOWER (1/4 mile). Minimum 4 point harness for cars QUICKER than 11.00 seconds (1/4 mile). Roll bars relevant to ANDRA specifications are required for open cars 11.00-12.99 seconds (1/4 mile). All cars quicker than 11.00 seconds must have full roll cage relevant to ANDRA specifications |

Hose clamp on Oil filter and positive retention. i.e something to stop the filter unscrewing

When I raced this at AIR it was a requirement back in 07.
You can see the spring along the dipstick tube. Good safety feature even if not needed these days.

brad sometimes the ask for a clamp on the filter sometimes they wont
just bang one on there

It really depends on the scrutineer, some are very strict with the rule book and some let some things slide.

Usually they will just ask you to have one fitted before your next event. That goes for most non safety items that you dont comply with.
