Cool XA or XB ??

Hi everyone I am new to forums but not Fords, have only ever owned them and nothing else so soz if its sounds weird but have a bit of a dilemma do :
XAs had accel rod and XBs have cable accel or do some of the early plated XBs have the rod ??
Not really sure and cant remember back that far and on the fence with it
Can anyone enlighten me please ???

Mine is 2/74 XB and it runs a cable so it would have to be earlier then that.

Hi guys hey thanks for answering its a 1/74 just wanted to put it out there before she is ressurected big project she has the usual rust and bog needing TLC just couldnt remember been such a long time since owning an aussie classic just trying to find out if she is the real deal before the $$$$ goes in
