Yeh happy to get some results and work from there, convertor needs to be tightened up now and lsd fixed. Will head back out sometime in the near future and go from there.

Well done Ivan, issues on the day and still went 10.3 and acheived the goal and task you set so the GTX is looking very promising.

Thanks mate, yeh its alot better to drive with the gtx, at cruise as well as at the track compared to the factory one.

alot of cars had traction issues on the weekend, they don't lay down any VHT or do any track prep? 1.55 on an unprepped track is crazy!

after 2 full days of racing on the track the final day was good as no rain over the last 2 days. People pulling 1.3x so track was ok. Few 8 and 9 sec cars so was good in the end.

Yeh Johns 8 sec Mustang was spinning almost all the way to the finish line , on and off the accelerator.
Sunday would of been the best day, as there were quite a few oil spillages, last run kicked out sideways pretty bad at half track.

Slicks are probably a couple of years old now also, still seems to be good. Not sure if a new set would make a difference.

if they aren't too hard then they should be ok.

Havn't even thought about a 9 yet Trent, will make a couple of changes and see if it starts to get close, im not going to push more boost as you know this is my daily , not worth destroying a motor just for a couple of tenths lol

That's the beauty of the GTX3582 is has more than 50rwkw up its sleeve still through a hi-stall

Two FG's now making 500+ with standard manifolds and cams through 2800rpm hi-stalls using this almighty piece of goodness

One went 146mph yesterday on its PB run.

Yes they prepped the track. I walked out on the start line before racing began on saturday around 10.30 am. Track was very sticky and nearly pulled the runners from my feet.... Friday, however was different... Cant be helped with the weather.

ahh ok, people must have been just talking bout Friday and not Saturday. definitely Friday will be slippery being cold n dewy.

Track wasnt the best Friday, Saturday was good, till the afternoon as there were quite a few breakages, my last dyo race kicked out midtrack and luckily saved it
