Impressive power from 1100cc but what the hell would it weigh?

I honestly don't see the point in it when the current 600cc or 1000cc sports bikes already have too much power to put to the road.

It is different though!

CBR 1000/6 that was an awsome bike. But a bugger to keep in tune. Modern computers etc have solved all that.

Honda had a inline 6 cylinder 250 in the 60's with straight trumpets. You should hear it run! Mike Hailwood rode it at Isle of Man etc.. I think it was 14 inches wide! Have the write up at home somewhere. Moto Guzzi made a V8 500cc as well.

Triumph has a bike 2.3 litre!!! I saw it in the flesh at Peter Stevens. Jesus what a mother only 3 pot though! This is actually a production bike!
Date: May 7, 2004

Mega Cruiser Confirmed
Triumph Motorcycles' monster 2.3 litre three-cylinder cruiser – the Rocket III – is confirmed for the upcoming Sydney Motorcycle Show at Darling Harbour, on May 13-16.
A show bike is being flown out from the UK specially for the event.
The Rocket III has scored unusually strong sales for a new model, with over 170 of the $25,000 machines finding a new home before anyone in the country has clapped eyes on one.
"We're both stunned and delighted with the response," said Triumph events co-ordinator Phil Hudson, "Our favourite character on the waiting list is a 70-year-old from Western Australia who asked to be moved up the list on the basis he might not have much time left to ride it!"
Basic stats for the Rocket III include 140 horsepower and 200Nm of torque from the 2294cc three-cylinder inline engine. It feeds a shaft drive (Triumph's first) through a five-speed gearbox and wears a massive 240 section low-profile rear tyre.

Sorry, CSV8, and falcon91....

I've heard of and seen the Trumpy 2.3 (almost 2.4) bike... but it doesn't compare to American overkill... from 5.7 litre to 8.2 litre V8 motorcyle.

They've improved the handling since the original models, but I'd be wary riding one...

Falcon91. Harley have 2000cc and 2500cc bikes in the skunkworks. Triumph is also testing a 3000cc Rocket 111 AND a turbo Rocket 111 is available in America. !!! Makes FPV and HSV look gutless!!!!

Yep power to weight ratio, You just can't beat it! 1-1 (1hp to 1kg)
The new GSXR, R1, CBR the list goes on. Just get it out of the box and your there. (Maybe a Yoshi pipe or similar)
That would be like buying a Ba XR6T with 1664hp as standard WTF!
