Default vacuum hoses

Is their a diagram of the vacuum hose layout for the 2.0ltr pinto, and what can safely be removed without compromising performance.
On our dizzy there appears two vacuum hoe inlets on the vacuum advance is this correct and wher do the hoses come from.

Hey, mantaman. the other one goes to the termostat aluminium housing. Not sure why though, something to do with the emitions. Im thinking of doing the same to de-clutter the engine bay ( way too many pipes, and half of the system is blocked up anyway)

The dizzy has a vacuum advance and vacuum retard, the valve on the thermostat housing was designed to provide timing advance when water temp is low, there should also be a tree on the intake manifold , all can be disconnected with out hurting economy, except vacuum advance, this is the one at the back of the dizzy
The vacuum advance should work from
about 1500 rpm up, can be checked, by disconnecting the hose to the dizzy over a few thousand rpm, the rpm should drop.

Okay so I guess just check and block up vacuum points on the carby.

You need only 1 vacuum port on the Carby, it will have no vacuum at idle and full vacuum at about 1500rpm

Yes that is correct vac booster will come direct from intake manifold
Vac advance come from Carby, above base idle, if its a std 32/36 dgv weber it will come from a vac port on the barrel / butterfly that opens first. If its the 38dgms it doesn't matter as they both together

Okay removed hoses today and fitted KN SPORTS FILTER.
Hoses remaining are vacuum advance from carby barrel through some kind of check valve (black and white plastic)?
Hose from thermostat the vacuum retard
Hose from inlet manifold to something attached to the side of the right side of the carby that heater hose runs up to?
hose to charcoal canister from hose with tee at rear of carby attached to inlet manifold.
