Exclamation 2001 au 2 sr

just wondering what instrument cluster's will fit the au 2 sr

any help would be great as i would like to change it as it is not working

The SR from memory got just the base model cluster. You can fit an AU1, AUII or AUIII cluster to an AU2, plugs just straight in if its from a forte/futura/s-pack/sr/classic

you can not fit a S1 cluster in a S2 if you do as soon as you turn the ignition on the radio will shoot up to maximum volume and stay there ( found this out the hard way) it is to do with the speed alert in the S1 sharing the wiring with the steering wheel controls

you can fit a mid series cluster ( XR) to a low series with minor rewiring if you need the details PM me your email and I'll send you the doc with instructions

you guys have a mean streak a mile wide
not sure what I said my ears were ringing for half an hour . I was franticly trying to turn the radio down and it wouldn't turn down took me a few seconds to think turn the key off

I don't remember this happening when I ran an S1 cluster for a few weeks in my S2.
