Default E-Series Springs

Did the springs in EF XR differ to the ones in EL XR?

Similarly, did the EF Gli springs differ to EL Gli?

(talking spring rates, tempering, coil heights etc)

In XR's definatly. Springs and shocks were different, as were the diff hats and rear upper arms, front lower inner bushes..plenty different

Mainly interested in the springs. Spring rate differences between EF/EL XR's

King springs list the same part number for ef/el. So i guess they might be the same ?
Only xr6, to xr8 are different.

Hmm. Possibly they used the same spring.

A tickford engineer moved across to Ford and worked on the EL suspension, thats what i heard.

EL's have Tickford wattslink location. Lowered 20mm on EA-F's, in order to reduce some of the falcon rear steer.
