There are already laws against crimes like assault and drug manufacturing. If the police and the DPP were interested in pursuing OMCGs they could have charged them for these crimes.

Bikie crime makes up 0.6% of crime in Queensland. Campbell has manufactured this "war" to distract us from some other idiotic plot he is cooking up. These laws will eventually be used against groups other than bikies. Unions for example. Or the other Today Tonight flavour of the month, the hoon menace -- us. All a politician has to do is sign a form. There are no checks and balances for this legislation.

Can't wait to see what new laws are rushed past parliament for the G20 next year. I bet we'll see some real human rights violations then.

The problem is the consequence. People have fun, live a life and something happens. They blame everyone but themselves and want gov co to fund their way as a consequence of ther decision.
Gov co legislates to protect its coffers and the cycle continues.

If you have read the New laws introduced by the LNP, they are open to be used against any group, that includes car clubs, don't think you are immune. They are also a blatant hijack of the hierarchical structure of government as it circumvents the Judicial system. How does this effect you? Well, your government has now got the power to put you in prison and define how long you will stay there. No Judge or Jury required. All done with a piece of legislation, Your rights may have been forfeited.

They stand over and scam people, manufacture and distribute drugs, launder money, steal plenty and sell counterfeit goods. Why this is something to be proud of I don't know. They get away with enough already. Crimes indirectly caused by OMC's are high.
