Hi guys
first post Just bought my wife a 2010 Focus LV diesel. We play around with diesel chips on 4WDs and have tuning experience. I have remapped the ECU for 70NM increase over stock and zero duty cycle of the EGR and it goes really well. Now I am looking to the Focus experts on the forum to advise what are the next things to do to it? Exhaust, Any tricks to be applied? Things like that? Also, when did Ford bring out DPF on the Focus? Reason I ask is that in the ECU code file I saw references to DPF but I am sure mine doesn't have it.

Curious where you had the ECU remapped and zero cycle for EGR?
I've got Bilstein B8 shocks, whiteline rear sway bar, Airtec Gen 3 front mount intercooler and 30mm lowered Eibach springs in mine. Mines the same years as yours. I asked around ages ago about the DPF, the UK guys reckon the DPF equipped cars have a twin intake "Y" pipe going to the inlet where the non DPF cars have a single big pipe, but if you ask Ford you get 5 different answers from 5 different dealerships. Go to ignition, see if you have a DPF light, I don't think our cars do, mine blows soot as well. |

Damo, I do the remapping. Its part of the business. I can zero the EGR in many vehicles but mainly we do performance tuning and DPF Delete.

Re dealers LOL> I hear you loud there.
RE Ignition, there is no DPF symbol there. Have you heard of bigger exhausts for these? Did you notice an improvement in the IAT with the aftermarket intercooler?? Thanks for the assist Damo. Regards Rob

I havent had a look at any IAT figures, is there a way I can tell?
I think Chicka here on the forum or Executor has a bigger exhaust done on his, I'm thinking about doing it after christmas. How do you do the remapping? I'm keen. |

RRP is $1599 but I would do better for you.
Question, do you know of any ready made after-market exhausts for the Focus TDCi?

but if you want a quick power increase we also do performance chips for that car. Just that it wont be able to turn off EGR
Cheers (sorry mods for the commercial brag)
