Easy to fix yourself, I do it all the time, living in the bush I get chips all the time.

Just get on eBay and and buy a repair kit, will fix about 2-5 chips depending on how big they are, exactly what the windscreen repair people use, just follow the instructions, very easy to do and takes about 15 minutes.

This is the exact one I use:

For your chip it will hardly take anything to fix it, I have done four now all with the one kit, probably have enough resin left for one more small chip, about to order another kit to keep in the garage for my next chip.

If you will repair it, tape over the chip to stop water and grit getting into the cracks.

Last chip I had, this is what the repair guy told me to do as, depending on the depth and conditions stuff if very hard to get out once in all the nooks and crannies and can get sealed in with the repair.

Don't waste you cash watching a pro do it, it's as easy as pouring a glass of water, just buy the kit and 15 minutes later your done.
