Default Trip km not working

I have just replaced my mid series dash
tacho, oil, etc, with a new one obtained
from a forum member in a1 cond.

Problem is the old one that also was mid
series (the trip KM stopped working )
The new one does not work either.
Could this be a fault in the electronic
sender attatched to gearbox also the
car is a t5 manual any one had this
problem also & how to fix it.

Ea-Ed I assume? It'd be a little plastic cog about the size of your index fingernail. Mine went about 2 weeks ago. Do a thread search for "able instuments". Also the name of a Brissie company that can supply the cog for about $30 cheaper than anywhere else I could find.
