Hi there,
I am new to Ford Forums, I am after a bit of info on a tremec 5 speed conversion i have just completed on my series 2 AU xr8, 1 Is there a fitting that goes into the firewall (enginebay side) before the clutch cable goes through. 2 Is there supposed to be a circlip on the clutch cable down on the bell housing. 3 I need to know the exact route of the cable, I have mine run in nice U shape but would like to make sure that it is in the factory position and if there is any brackets etc that hold the cable. Can anyone post some pics of this. 4 I have changed the ecu to a 22ca from a manual 200 kw car, The smartsheild light flashes when key is turned to start and engine won't crank, (i have fitted manual gearbox loom with inihibitor switch loop) From what i have read the ecu needs to be programmed to the bem, I live in Newcastle and was wondering if anyone can recommend anybody that will do this, Also is the round wiring plug from the auto transmission harness now redundent with no further mods needed. Thank you for your time. |
