Default smartlock question

hey guys, iv been havin trouble with my smartlock in my eb2 recently.

it seems as if the passenger door lock has been sticking. when i open the car with the remote, all the doors open except for the front passenger door and then the rest of the doors keep locking and unlocking.

anyone know if this is common in the e-series and if it is expensive to fix?

thankz in advance.
josh

When the lock is up, pull the button off. you'll need to use pliers with some cloth around the lock. It takes some force but it'll just pop off eventually. Sit in the car and push the lock down, then push the lock button back in. What has happened is your button over time has been pushed further down meaning it doesnt quite go to the full lock position.

Mate, just in addition to NZs comments, it may take a few times to get the button just right. I had to do mine about 5 times on the 1 door to get the heigh just right. Hang in there and you will get it..

Mine does this. But only when it feels like it. No idea why but god it sh.ts me. Nothing like driving along the highway and your door locks start going up and down to scare to the passengers

Mine doesn't do it when im driving only when locking or unlocking,
However i took it into the Ford Dealership and had them look at it, and it has Phase 1 actuators, the one in the front passenger door needs replaced however it needs to be replaced witha Phase 3 actuator, but ...... Phase 3 arent compatible with the others so i need to replace ALL 4 at the Princely sum of $800. Oh my god tell me theres another way.

Yeah i thought about that, and i may just yet.
However the problem is with the actuators, Ford brang out 3 phases of the things to fix the problem.
So to fit another 1 will only have the problem reoccur.
