The app gives you a countdown to the closing date/time. Then they will tell you where the remote dealer is and how far it is from you. If you're still interested you call the number they give you. You have to one of the first 10 to get through. If you are one of the first 10 to get through on the phone you then have to get to your local Jeep dealer with the $10k by 5pm the following day. Before you pick it up you must prove you've got it insured. You then have to pick it up before July the 26th

Even at 10 grand at one of the local dealers I'd have to think about it. Never been a big fan of Jeep.............

Wrong. There is no number to call. It will only give you a 'busy' tone. The only people that are getting $10k vehicles are those that are family members of people that work at Jeep. This kinda bs has been going for centuries. Can't believe people still fall for it. Line, hook, stinker.

Have you read the T&C's What number did you try to call and get a busy tone? No ph number has yet been published. The T&C's quite obviously states..... "2. Entry is open to residents of Australia over the age of 18 who hold a current Australian driver’s licence. Employees & their immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies, retailers and suppliers associated with the Promotion are ineligible to enter." 5. III. Once the entry has been submitted, a countdown counting down the number of days/hours/minutes/seconds to when the Promoter will reveal the location of the Remote Dealership, its distance from the entrant and the number to call if the entrant is interested in purchasing a Cherokee.

Having worked in marketing, the ad agency who thought this up should get an award for thinking outside the square.

I wouldn't pay 10k for a new Jeep.
would rather buy a Great Wall instead...about the same reliability. |

Why did they hit the thing with the ugly stick? The 2014 model looked so good as was!

havnt they done this before when they first started again In OZ with 3 vehicle parked on an island?
in bass straight---something. Or am I just getting old. So I pat them on the back-Lets hope they are earning cash from these deals. few years ago I overheard--Certain dealer dumped the brand because cars on the forecourt lost mucho cash. The Parts and Service section made big $-but the marketing won out-dealer gone. lots of shinney cheep jeeps around.

Yeah not really happy with how it went this morning. Not enough to sue them like those trolls but to not even get a message or something, just plain didn't get through and got call failed screens the whole time. They knew how many signed up so they should have been prepared...
