well after 3 months of rest! from blowing the engine while it was supercharged ,my XR finally fired back into life today ,I have fitted a complete AU egas (running on pulp) ,only things to be fitted modified/bought now is the A/con fittings, and inlet tubing, it runs really smooth/quiet ,and lites em up easier than before
total cost 1400, for all parts and having the old block removed and new one fittied in, the rest I did myself ,pics below car also has been sold and will be gone in acouple of weeks |

John, the XR was sold for 6g to a mate and will be a family car from now on!!! I am currently driving a man cfi gl ,but Im in the process of off loading ALL my eseries cars/parts ,(the SVO + GL + charger kit and hopefully in one go!)and might just be the last time I own an eseries falc, might even move on from the Fords for awhile |

as a complete unfinished project $3500 ,you get a complete SVO for parts ,a manual CFI GL 5 speed to accept parts and the supercharger kit ,the XR motor and shite loads of parts to suit EA-ED(cam etc ,anything in the shed)
(everything to make one blown SVO, it would only require tuning and paint job!) separate the kit is $3000 and the both cars/parts for $1100 ( no reg no rwc ) |

nah air isnt hooked up yet ,the new owner will be doing that (either change to XH tensioner and run old pump ,or have ed modded to suit the AU pump, which ever is cheaper)
I cant be bothered throwing it all together my self ,cause Ive spent more time working on both the XR and SVO than driving em in the last year and Ive had enuff of juggling tools for a while. my hands are hurting so is the pockets |
