Thanks for that, forgot the reveal was last night.
I like the green also. Pity it still gets the same Maloo tail lights. |

Looks horrid but well done to HSV for producing a ute that will be as good as as the sedan (or thereabouts) and have the same inclusions. If only Ford...

Got to hand to Holden and HSV for its ability to produce limited edition vehicles from many body styles. Over the years they have done AWD Monaro's with Coupe 4, AWD wagon in Avalanche, and AWD dual cab crewman with its Avalanche XUV, W427 supercar, new GTS and now new Maloo GTS. They are lucky in some aspects when it comes to create performance engines and stronger drive lines or there ability to upgrade the drive lines. Ford has had the engines available like the GT 500 mustang engine which we know fits but it is not willing to match to to a strong enough drive line. Great work HSV

Got to hand it to HSV, they give their fans and buyers what they want. The full GTS driveline in the ute body is and the gizmos is pretty cool!

If FOA was able (note: I did not say capable) of a production run with as many variants as the General did over the last 10-15 years then maybe things would have been different now (government policy notwithstanding). Both manufacturers have a very deep parts bin worldwide and Australia would have been a very nice place to be had FOA been able to follow the Generals lead during these years. Now just imagine how kewl an injected big block BF GT coupe would have been, or even an AWD V8 BF wagon. Pure fantasy though... sigh. |

The rear end looks not so good, and those ute lights don't help at all
I was behind 2014 HSV sedan last night. In white, the back end profile looks like a nappy, the way it has those large cutouts for l̶e̶g̶s̶ exhaust. |

Odd you say that, I haven't been a fan of the rear until I saw a Calais the other day and thought that looks ok! It's those cutouts....I like the Calais treatment better. Though I have to say in white it looks great. But of course FG likes that colour too....I'll be interested to see a real life FG-X XR8 in white.
Other than that though, that ute is very very nice. I'd opt for a diff colour but very very nice.

Yep - Good one Holden. Wow that sold well - lets keep building them. Just like back when that gentleman bought the 'last' Monaro. Wow - that sold well lets build some more Monaro's. |

I think they are estimating 0-100 in 4.5 for GTS ute and I think they estimated 4.3 for the GTS sedan when it was released so maybe a little slower?
