Default Peddal box pin capri 1972

Hi all
i have a major problem with my peddal box. The sir clip that holds the pin cames of and my clucth peddal moves. Has anyone got any better ideas for this problem....
I was thinking even putting a bolt straite threw ...your thoughts..on this

are you able to drill a hole through the pin and pop a split pin in the drilled hole

if you use a bolt make sure its a nulox nut and flat washer that will hold

Presume you mean the 1/8" thick square section circlip. Probably just stretched.
A photo would help to confirm the item.

Hi dirty hands
that was my first thought . But drilling a hole while its still up there mite be very hard . I realy dont want to pull everything apart again. Booster and pedal box . Its a real pain. Such bad spots to work in.

i dont know about square section. Its at the end were the clucth pedal is round pin and it has a slot on the end of it to put a circlip .
The circlip is very new maybe the clucth pedal has play in it and wants to kick out the peddal ..ill send you a pm..
