I would imagine the stage 2 tune should work with the new Cobb air intake, would much prefer that one over the GGR cai, any opinions ?

I've been running MP215 since late March. In fact, I have almost everything from the Mountune website installed on my baby; intake, intercooler, hoses and clamps, short shifter... the list goes on.

I was dealing with Denmac at Indro and asked them whether they'd be okay with light mods. They said they'd be fine with it, so I ordered bits straight away. But then they closed that service department and merged into one that's too far away for me to bother with. Since then I've just decided to go with OEM Denied for servicing and upgrades...

If that were the case I wouldn't have received a big warning email not to sell Stage 2 Bluefin tunes to customers unless they are buying or have already bought the GGR intake as they will not guarantee trouble free running. The ECU is meant to flag up fault codes if you try and run stage 2 without the GGR intake.

If you want to use a COBB CAI id recommend sticking with a COBB tune.

Hey bigshotdan

Those looking for alternatives we are currently seeking a stock Fiesta ST for testing of a new CAI we supply along with REVO software. Drop us an email to oemdenied@hotmail.com or through our website www.oemdenied.com if interested. Must be able to come to the Sunshine Coast QLD and have the car available to us for testing for a whole day. As we will be carrying out data logging on your 100% stock car, then with the REVO software, then with the CAI on stock tune then again with the REVO software reloaded.

This is our Focus ST one:

GGF Pom.

I'd offer mine, but with almost the whole Mountune website under the bonnet, it's hardly the stock car you need...

I just prefer the cobb one less dramas with the cops and if it allows the same amount of air flow I can't see an issue, but will be installed when on dyno to be on the safe side, if it works it does if not I revert to the stage 1 tune
