I had a shifter almost exactly the same as that one in my AU2 Xr8. Whilst it was better than the broken original shifter, it got sloppy over a few thousand kays. I then upgraded to a MGW shifter and it was like chalk and cheese! If you're going to keep the car for a while I would definitely recommend the MGW shifter.

I bought mine as a hybrid combo of the T5 shifter and the F-body camaro shaft and adaptor. This allows a straight stick which you can raise or lower up to 2 inches and also rotate to any position.
