I have only ever pulled the trigger on a Ruger mini 14 once, but i was very impressed with it. That was a .223 I think?

Ok, maybe im wrong about 223 being banned here, but in some nato countries it was.
.223 is the most popular cartridge in aus next to .22lr. .222 was the big choice many years ago and is almost non- existant now, the .223 having taken that crown. And I have been reading ssaa mags since I was a kid in the late 80s and 90s but not for the past few years and I know the 223 was around back then |

And Dean, I was referring the 223 as not suitable for large game, its illegal.

Is the law still the same? I remember you couldn't use a .270, but 30/30 was ok.

i've got a 1908 BSA Department of Defence 22 Training rifle at home and I use it every month.
i tried to find out what its worth but dealers are dealers and don't trust them when i transferred the rego the dealer wanted it so bad, but now he says they are not worth anything maybe a couple of hundred.
