I'm looking to track down some Capri 2L front struts for a Mk1 Escort. Preferably complete with hubs disk and rotor but will settle for Struts only.
Thanks Brendan |

Capri MK1 in OZ only came with 1600cc/Kent 4cyl or 3000cc/Essex V6.
Capri MK2 included a 2000cc Pinto/OHC 4cyl. Many people have fitted to 2000cc Pinto unit into the 4cyl shells for instant power upgrade. So...you need to decide if you want 4cyl (common) or 6cyl (rare) Capri struts. Note that spring saddle height is different across the various struts, both 4 and 6 cyl numerous variations. And, yes, the Capri struts have the removable steering arm, whereas Escort does not (from what I've seen). |

Wow, thanks for taking the time to explain! From what you've explained I'm after the mk2 4cylinder struts. I intend on modify them for fitting Coilovers and from my research the Capri struts are a little shorter than the Escort mk2 struts allowing me to get the front a little lower. Hope this is correct and a also a little more accurate.
