I was browsing the list and came across this...thing...and wondered what the hell it was, then looked it up...good lord...

http://ideas.revell.de/ideas/item/7214/
"Two Mig-21 jet engines on a T-34 chassis…and used to literally blow out oil well fires!!"
I can only say that the designers must have been watching too many old episodes of the Thunderbirds...
Sorry...as well as the cars, I'm definitely voting for that...

Some of the WW2 German planes and projects make you pause and think as well...if Hitler hadn't been so hell bent on wiping out Jews and other "undesirables" and had got his crap together, the war might have turned out very differently if they got these things off the ground...
http://ideas.revell.de/ideas/item/4395/
http://ideas.revell.de/ideas/item/4392/
And now you know where they got the idea for that flying wing in the end of Captain America...
http://ideas.revell.de/ideas/item/4369/

That WW2 tech is quite amazing. If only the Germans hadn't had the habit of kicking the hornet's nest and ant's nest one too many times, maybe we would all have been driving on autobahns instead of speed limited, revenue enforced motorways that all the Allied countries eventually devised as time went on

Would you settle for a mere XB GT?

I found out you can vote for each once a day. If everybody votes every day for a while, it could happen.

That thing is actually true, most of you guys are too young to remember but when USA attacked Iran the first time and Suddams` honchos went around setting everything on fire, well, an American company who specialise in major fires really built it and were successful.

Only thing you got right there was that you spelt USA correct.

Iraq invaded Kuwait under the impression the World was too weak and unwilling to do anything about it, USA intervened however. In retreat the Iraqis blew up every Kuwaiti oil well they could find (nearly 1000).
After Saddam's army retreated all the way back into Iraq, the World now had one of the worst environmental issues in history to deal with.
The World actually got together and put the fires out in 18 months, it was expected to take atleast 10 years to do.
An estimated 1 billion barrels of oil went up in smoke.

The Tank with the jet engines was Hungarian from memory and it only put out a handful of very small fires. The majority were done the old fashioned way.

Good documentary to watch.

I'd love them to make a Triumph Thruxton motorcycle model. Been searching for one for a while now without success.

Try finding a good-sized model of the still-legendary Kawasaki H2-750 Mach IV two stroke triple from the early seventies...You can buy endless models of Harleys and anonymous race bikes that no one has ever seen before, but the classic bikes everyone talks about? Nope...
