Default Advice on diesel, is 125k, kms too much, 2 cars can't decide!!

Right I have narrowed down my two favourite cars, a 2011 titanium diesel wagon, white, one owner, full ford dealer history, mint condition, and it has 125thou kms. I know it's not many kms but I'm worried, has anyone got one with heaps of kms on them? What's the verdict. It's a private seller and has 18k on it.

The second is a 2012 zetec wagon with 97 kms, silver country car full ford service history, mint cond. it's at a yard 17,999 drive away.

I'm torn but the titanium looks so much nicer,

Mondeo's are good cars, go the titainium. I work at a dealership and there is quite a few getting around with 250 plus kms with no dramas.

Definitely the first car based on the information provided as long as it checks out mechanically. Diesel has just been run in!

Dad mondeo titanium is also a 2011. Same kms and it hasn't had 1 issue. That car has given him confidence to buy a ford again. They were on there 3rd strike

I bought in @ 120K kms little over 12mths ago, I have no problems with those K's. There's a real problem in Australia with many a buyer thinking 100K Kms is to much and must have under 100K. It's the condition of the vehicle is in that matters most.

good engine/driveline/suspension/brakes/steering/interior/electricals/lighting

Vehicles that that do well across board above give those a drive and if satisfactory buy it and be happy with it. You're going to enjoy it.

I'm happy with the mondeo as a package, I want to keep this car for while, so I want least kms at all, I drove the zetec wagon yesterday that car is very tidy and drives a dream, I need to call about the titanium again this arvo to organise a viewing. I'm leaning toward the titanium for resale value as well as the looks,

Hi-spec models cost a lot more than base models when new, but when selling/buying used the gap closes quite a lot. Is the extra kit worth the $$$. Diesels also cost more regardless of spec level.

Drove the titanium yesterday, defiantly worth the extra money in my eyes, I'm still struggling with 130,000 kms but, I guess it's not much, but I really wanted something under 80 ish

It seems that with my research, mondeo diesels don't really have the diesel problems that a lot of others have, as their, "problem" like toyotas and the injectors, like Navaras and turbos.

Very keen to buy a titanium, just need to find the right one, going to look at another hatch on sat with 87 kms I think.

Bought a 2010 zetec tdci hatch with 116 kms last week, what a very nice car to drive, diesels have advanced a long way since I last drove an astra in 1990.

2010 is good it's the update yeah? I think I will most likely end up in something similar, can find a few hatches with low kms . Also hard to find a titanium under 19-20 grand
