Very entertaining to say the least.
AFF has evolved beyond just a falcon and a few other cars. It's the characters within the community that keep many interested, myself included, with a great spectrum of knowledge, humour and other entertainment.

And hats off to Hulk, if you do exist.

Pepe the TRD uses the supercharged engine rather than the standard V6, it makes a good 40kW more power and still only manages 6.1s to 100. I'm not sure you can even buy them new any more, I've had trouble finding them on Toyota's website.

Its a fair option but im looking at a base model as it will be a high km car doing around 25000-30000km per year.. the base vf engine is a fair bit slower than the aurion/falcon.

Hulk, take it upon yourself to just go and test drive one of each back to back and hopefully you will come to reason on which vehicle is the better option, if you are half the car enthusiast you say you are and know just a little about the driving pleasure that each individually can bring you then you will have your answer.

Hopefully then you can report back to us all on Sat with your real experience and an answer to your question.

I've posted a video of a 2014 aurion with a full tank doing 0-100km/h in mid 5s...bog stock...was in Another thread. I don't know of too many n/a ford v8s (stock) that match it. I've owned plenty of ford n/a v8s too

Serious, I'm not being argumentative, just telling what I've seen first hand.
