Default New Focus ST have auto-brakes (active city stop)?

Hi all,
I'm getting conflicting reports. Ford's website says that the optional tech pack on the LZ Focus ST doesn't have active city stop yet I've just read a review of the ST which says it does. And since it's on the Titanium, I don't see why not.
The local Ford dealer had no idea (unsurprisingly).

It's a feature I rate really highly, especially after having been rear-ended a few weeks ago.

Any ideas?

Don't think it has it as it is a manual gearbox

I'd be surprised if that was the case as most small cars sold in Europe are manuals so that would rule that feature out for most people.

Is that the system that uses a radar to work out distance and speed for that function?

Yes it does. There are plenty of manual cars around that have it. The 2012 VW Up! had it and it was manual only.

Ford's website is often wrong, though. They also state that the Mondeo Trend doesn't have the lane departure warning when it does.

The LZ ST definitely has it.
A VIN lookup reveals :- "Low Speed Safety System"

This, apparently is Active City Stop.

Havn't seen it in operation yet, thank goodness!!

No Ford calls this Adaptive Cruise control.
