I frankly fail to see the point of either of these vehicles. They are not fast or nimble enough to be a sporting vehicle nor are they rugged enough to tackle serious off-road conditions. Maybe what they really are is mobile tumble dryers - chuck the washing in the back and take it for a spirited drive.
Cheers Russ

They are something to be seen it but each morning I drive past one of the s****iest Brisbane schools and there is an abundance of high end euro SVU's hovering around the school. They are quite common which somewhat defeats the point of. So I think the point of these is to take euro SUV's to the next level of ultra expensive kid haulers, parents with too much money competing with other parents with too much money, I bet their kids will be gems when they grow up. |

I'll take the Porsche.
I'd like to see a track time of the Porsche vs a sports sedan. To see what deficit the SUV does have.

One of these new range rovers was very keen to overtake me in my tj jeep the other day then he sped off thinking he's cool, but the thing had no ground clearance and was very wide. I bet the thing would get stuck in the tyre ruts at the beach and down a narrow bushy track there would be no paint left on the sides.
Pointless 4wd for some yuppy snobby person who thinks there cool. |

A 75 year old driving a Toyota Corolla would possibly see a supercharged GT as pointless. If you can afford to buy what you want, it doesn’t matter how relevant it is to someone else. Quote:
I don't know what the comment about the kids is trying to say? Last edited by Express; 25-11-2015 at 12:46 PM. |
