They look almost identical, even if they aren't 'true' simmons they are still a very attractive rim

Are they an original design? or?
And did the americans embrase them?
They were made for me about 2-3 years ago from Retro Wheels in Sydney. I think that was the company name. He used to make all John Goss's race wheels and he owns the famous Celica from Bathurst that was getting hit in the boot with an axe during the great race many moons ago......

Just tried to order some Simmons from Tempe tyres. Tried being the operative word you would think for a $4000 sale they would return calls after being told the Simmons guru would call me back he even did call back at one stage only to tell me he would call me back wtf. Had all sizes back space and brake clearances for them. Hopeless a total bunch of muppets.

Not surprised, never had any luck with Tempe and good luck if you ever need to make a warranty claim.

Where are you located?

Did you go to them directly or through a supplier? I went through a supplier here in SA and had absolutely no dramas.

Bazinga! That's what happened to me. The warranty is a joke and not worth the paper its photocopied on. Won't be caught there again.

No I was trying to do it over the phone as I live four hours away in country nsw. Don't think it would be so difficult to sort it out. I spoke to another 3 piece mag wheel place in Melb who do something similar custom sizes ect and the guy there Peter could not have been more helpful price is a little more expensive but guess who gets my business.
