I`m thinking theres a world wide manufacturing opportunity here .
A self maintaining(up to a point), portable fold out solar array and battery bank ..... like something from nasa ...... power pack( with wind ? ) , perhaps with a small inbuilt generator back up only for those days when there is bugger all sun.... possibly in modules, a chep pallet wide(maybe two ? ) and transportable by crane truck ..
councils could put them in allocated rest areas and move them around as they see fit ? for high travel areas add more modules .

As it is portable it would be great to connect rural areas with greater capacity to the city in high demand times. Like holidays, public holidays, music festivals etc.
