Good Call It will still be very capable on outback roads in RWD, and will be much better suited to the highway. wonder if the towing Capacity is the same.

If your using it for more around town stuff is this car even worth getting? They will perhaps need to do a bit of suspension work for a more compliant ride if the goal is basically offering a high riding 7 seater?

They should offer Trend and Titanium ... There are heaps of 2WD Territory Titaniums out there.. ford makes more money on high spec too..would want the top line to be at least 10k cheaper than the 4WD though.. if they can keep tow capacity up to around 3 tonne they caravanners will love it

That's good, for whatever reason The Territory RWD was rated 300kg less than the AWD

Most car-buyers are clueless, but it seems to me to be the height of stupidity to buy a big heavy 4wd, without 4wd, especially for $56,000.
But as I said, clueless. Most people who buy 4wds never use it, so this will be a good deal for them. Seems to me though, that this should be the market for their territory replacement?

Everest was priced too high to begin with and they have been bumbling from one promotion to the next ever since. A 2wd Everest will hurt the Everest brand.
They have royally screwed the introduction of the Everest and will now have to spend years making it up. Last edited by Brazen; 21-06-2016 at 12:12 AM. |

That's a misprint. It's supposed to be Trend not Titanium. The article says it's a $5k saving over the 4wd model.
