How do you put someone on your ignore list and does this include any threads they may have started?

Look in your user cp.
I've never ignored someone so I am not sure if it removes their previous posts. There are a few that use it, maybe they'll tell you.

it just hides their posts, so if they start a thread you just see a box saying they are on your ignore list wherever they post, and you see everybody elses posts as normal
