That didn't take long...

I guess we will see a lot of XY GTs hitting the market now, I have not seen too many lately, but now given the price surge and current bench marks for sales, I expect a few to start hitting the market.

PS. The car advertised does not seem to be a POS...looks real nice TBH.
Sold!

A mate has a 1970 Vermillion Fire black Trim XY GT 4 speed he is considering selling.

Similar condition to the one listed for 240k.

Still the colour to have. Like everything..colour is key.

Geeze..................id have to think twice about letting our 71 vermillion GT go for that sort of coin. I was offered 200k for it during the boom but held onto it.

Cheer Mick

I'm sure there are plenty thinking now...good time to sell, I should have waited 18 month before flogging off mine.

Selling a GT is like day trading shares....

Advertised for $240k.

Sale price, hard to say unless you are the seller or the buyer!

I may have been a bit harsh with my language, I had a few drinks at the time.

I'm not old enough to remember those days and in a couple of decades someone may say the same to me.

We're all passionate about cars, it's probably because I don't have much history behind me. But given that they are both shutting up shop it might be even stronger later on. There will be no more.

Good coin for the yellow ochre car

I sold mine in 2008 for 175k, some HOs exchanged hands for 500k and 700k then they started to drop when the GFC hit.. Looks like they are on the rise again
