Default au falcon in mercury silver

Was Mercury Silver released on auiii in great numbers? I always thought it was a ba falcon colour. I had a look at a mercury silver one yesterday and i don't remember seeing an au falcon in this colour before.

I doubt it would've been Mercury Silver as that was a BA colour. It would've been Meteorite, which was an AUII/III colour.

I drove a AU3 mercury silver XR8 220 manual sedan just before the BA was released, very nice looking car in that colour, went well too!

had an ex who's father is a manager at ford in the paint section. some of the ba colour's where trieled on some Au's to get the fianal sign of before production started, most where development cars but some did make it to sale for the public.

This gives you a better idea of the colour. Definitely Mercury Silver.

Looks much nicer now with the BA XR wheels.

Still needs a clean but...

Yep, theres also a few ACID Rush (yellow) AU III's around.

Ive also seen an AUIII in phantom Purple!
