Can the forum advise at what intervals should spark plugs be replaced on 1.6 Duratec. Is NGK PTR5A-13 Platinum the preferred part?

Yes, that is the correct part number

Does about 4K to 5k per year. Is spark plug wear a function of time or klm travelled? Grateful for your input. |

I've never changed the plugs in our fiesta in 70,000kms. Unless it's running rough i wouldn't bother. Give them a clean and inspect them though. My opinion anyway.
