Thought I would post my fix for the stupid plastic bonnet latch system on the XR5. The cable on the key barrel broke which made this a little more difficult.
Im sure there are other ways to fix it without going to ford to be bent over counter for a bonnet cable. Anyway here is how I did it and the pictures. Perhaps its been done this way before ......
