Brings back memories of the good old days (vaguely ), great old cars from that era , i`ll never forget one encounter with a phase 3 that made the hair stand up on the back of my neck , wow what a car .

Not a GTHO story but still interesting. A friend's older brother owned an XY GT in the early 70's and I always remember him saying in the late 70s as he recounted stories of cars he owned, that the one thing it had over all the other cars he had owned was that when people saw it coming in their rear view mirror they moved over to let it pass.
