Another leaf pinched out of Ford Australia's books. So Broadmeadows had it right in 2004 with the RWD/AWD Territory. The current gen Explorer looks like an evolved territory, the doors, C pillar and window treatment have a Territory style to them.

Where do you think Territory got it from, Explorer always had distinctive styling for the C pillar and a floating D pillar since 2000

I'm sure Australia will get its own laid-back diesel version - after all, it's the type of people we are...

2012 Ford Kuga Titanium (Mars Red) * 5 spd auto * ~170 000km odo * Mods: Fox cat-back exhaust, Simota CAI, larger intercooler, Spider iMode chip-tuning plug in. Engine responds very well to mods, but auto gearbox can become unsettled trying to cope with the extra torque. Good fuel economy overall: 9-12L/100km city, 8L/100 country. |
