Im gonna bump this thread. Get some updates from people with WS through to the now WZ.

Mine: WT Fiesta Zetec Petrol Manual. 2011 Model, 44000kms. 7.5L/100kms in around town driving. Doesnt go far these days. Lowest ive seen is 4.3L/100kms at which point it was impossible to go any lower. (i'd just filled up and reset, but i kept it there for a number of kms).

On the freeway 5.5L/100kms is pretty easy to achieve. Cant complain with that!

All my driving is city...

My WZ ST gets about 7.5L, the WT Zetec Diesel gets 4.9L that is with 205 tyres. Use to be down around 4.6 with the factory 195 tyres!

That is really impressive for both cars. Especially the ST being performance orientated. (no doubt a bit of a heavy foot would change that though!

Not really - 7.8L avg (98RON) over 25000Km and mine never changes gear below 4000rpm. All but 1500Km is city driving. Just replaced the front tyres - to give an indication on how "softly" it is driven... ;)

Our ST at 5000k is getting below 7/100k on a trip with a mixture of city/hwy and below 8 on normal day to day running. Has slightly improved as it's loosened up a bit

Averaging around 6.8L with more highway driving than city in a ST.
Once I tried really hard for 350km and averaged 5.2L, probably won't ever do that again

Mainly short trips 20km.
9,000km only ever 98.

8.1ltr average but can drop it down to 7.6 on a highway drive.

Trying to change my driving behaviour to shift before boost but its very very hard...

Freeway with a clear run 4.7.

City 7.4; but can go to 7.7 in heavy traffic.

Manual 2009 WS Fiesta Zetec (two door) at 75,000 km. Always use BP Ultimate 98. Don't know if the Castrol Edge synthetic oil helps.

I might add that I always have the air filter changed at every service.

I'm running on Pirelli P Zero Nero tyres (got 40,000 km already, and I think I will easily get 50,000). Alignment about once a year.

My Fiesta ST averages around 7.5l/100, mixture of highwayand around around town. I've done about 6000km in it. The trip computer says 7.0, but I think it's a bit optimistic. It averaged about 6.5//100 on a recent 600km round trip to Echuca. A fair bit of boost assisted overtaking on that trip however.

I do think the engine oil might have a slight impact but open to be corrected.

My WS Fiesta mostly loaded and city driving averages low 5L to 100km... on a highway run does low 4's. Looking at the ST Fuel economy would definitely love to update to one of them in the next couple of years. They look like such an awesome package. Just wish we got the 5 door

I'm getting 6.4 l/100km at an average of 45km/h driving 40km each way to and from work, and a couple other runs during the week. The driving is pretty much even city and fwy driving.
This is up from 6.1 l/100km after I fitted a ITG CAI, Perron FMIC and a Perron tune to take it up to 220 hp and run 98 RON only.
