Well the old faithful pair is now tired and scratched, so time for me to upgrade. Thinking of these ones, yes yes I know, not very imaginative - but I reckon they look good and they have a low transmission percentage which is what I'm also after.
Now, Oakley sell these direct for $299... can anyone beat that? (Lord I hope so!) Better yet, can anyone point me to any online stores, or places around Sydney, that offer some competitive pricing (competitive meaning DIRT CHEAP!) : Thanks all!

Yeah I might have a look on Ebay, but sunnies are one thing I'm a bit wary of on there unless it's a recognised seller / online ebay store.

Try the smaller (non chain) clothing stores. Theres a place here that does the wire rimmed ones for about $350 depending on the style, which is the cheapest ive seen anywhere.
Either that, or OPSM were having a bloody good sale not so long ago - some stuff was even half price. You do realise Oakley store works on US dollars?

I got my pair of Oakley 5 2.0's for $149.00. They are quite honestly the most comfortable, lightweight sunglasses I have even worn. Not to meantion 110% effective with cutting out glare, and they are super clear.

/me points Sparkler to the sunglass factory outlet @ the Tuggerah Supercentre (other side of the tracks from Westfields)
I'm not 100% sure if they stock Oakleys - but I DO know I bought my current Bolle's from there for 100 (rrp $279) As well as a pr of Legend sunnies for Jo. Can't remember precisely how much they were - as I really had no choice in not buying them, she'd just had eye surgery & needed a pr like real quick. hehehe - I BET that explains a hell of a lot to people who've wondered how I coulda ended up with Jo..... |

Bought some cheap arnettes through this site a little while ago, courier to your do within a day or so, about 20% cheaper than the shops, very good service. Glasses were definitely genuine. These were arnettes however, not sure if he does oakley although I am sure he would.

I got a pair of those oakleys with the flames on em. White with light blue flames and I reckon they look great. I got these from some markets on my way to canberra last year from a lady who was selling all these good branded sunnies really cheap coz apparently they were factory seconds or something. Came in the genuine box with price tag ($269) but I paid $45 (haggled 5 bucks off).
Now whether they are genuine or not, Im not sure. But the amount of times I have put them in my pocket with my keys and dropped them onto hard ground, they have not got one single scratch on them. Quite impressed. EDIT: (Sorry first pic is blurry, but its the price tag) Pics: |

Or you could just join the Air Force and get a pair with their free health scheme - it will only cost you your soul, any relationships you have, and half your life!
