Nice one!
Seems nothing unusual to me though. We've gotten good at adding tech to stuff, but for brute force etc, we are way behind from the 1960s. Sent men to lunar orbit in 1968, landed on moon in 1969 .. 2018 can't get out of low earth orbit (using 1960s Russian rockets) SR71 introduced in 1966 capable of Mach3+ (3,500+ km/h at 80,000feet) .. not a one off "Elon Musk special", but 32 produced. Concorde introduced 1969 capable of carrying up to 120 people at 2,200 km/h .. no modern equivalent. 1969 Dodge Daytona .. first NASCAR vehicle to break 200mph in 1970 .. this was closer to a "stock car" than almost anything racing in any professional racing series these days. The original Ford 427 engines have been replaced by two dry block nitro-fueled Hemi V8 engines that pump out double the speed – 2,500 horsepower (1,800 kW) each
