Default Phase 4 up for auction

https://www.lloydsonline.com.au/LotD...7&pgn=1&pgs=10

Might set a record for the highest price paid for an Australian car?

No mention of the provenance - which one of the two remaining red ones is it?

Hopefully this is not the 'Hoddo' car being reborn?

I know there's been much, much debate on this already, but I don't consider this car a PH4.
Those three race cars were race prepared GT sedans. A HO carried a 'H' on the VIN.
Would you consider a regular XY GT a HO just because it had been modified to HO specs after it left the factory?
There was only one PH4 that left the factory as such.

So now I can officially say I have bid on a phase 4, not only that I threw 60 large at a car without even consulting the wife!

With that kind of off the pace thinking we would be saying Moffats Coca Cola Mustang is not a Boss 302 because it was born as a lowly M code and not a G code Mustang.

No, but luckily for the collector car hobby it's not you that decides what's real or correct with Factory Works Race Cars both here and overseas.
