how would I go about changing the dash cluster needles to white from red?

Well no, but they light up at night time...or they appear to...where does that light come from.
just toying with an idea of dash clusters background black, numbers blue and needles white...

Model paint and an airbrush so you don't lay it on thick, there are model paints available that are effectively a tint that will be perfect for this

Perhaps saying what vehicle would be helpful. Some are clear needles lit by coloured light from the back.

I don't know what car you have or if you need to do it but I once decided to change the back lighting on my dash which meant you needed to sand the green film off the back of the dials. It seemed simple enough at the time but turned out to be a disaster.
I'd reconsider doing this if it is the case because I ended up accidentally popping off the needles and then needing a 2nd hand cluster (luckily one with similar kays give or take about 100kms) as it just could not reset the needles. Very expensive lesson. |
