Well it is finally here the racing is on again and what a race track to start the season off. Unfortunately we have those pestering red cars on the front row with the SBR cars not making the top 10 shootout : . The two 888 cars are there in the top 10 giving us ford fans a bit of hope it is a long race and we all know our tough this track can be so it is anyones for the taking :jab: . The blue flags are flying and the rum's are on ice so let's go racing :eclipsee_ "BRING IT ON"

It’s going to be the best season ever!
I’m not making excuses for fords being lower on the list but it’s a long race and some of them are probably playing safe and going to get into a rhythm of hunting the lions. Going to be a great race and will be able to watch it again on Wednesday on Austar! Good idea with the rums on ice!

Well racing is done and Jamie Whincup has taken his first round win, haha what does that have to show you. He finally has a good solid car that handles well, not like them holdens :evilking: . Well now the rest of the championship is gunna be sensational and 888 are going to be force to reakon with at bathurst.

Too right Little Fox!
And the mention of "Falcon Power"...can someone please explain why the AVESCO Official decided to rip the "Falcon Power" poster out of Jamie's hands (and screw it up) when Jamie re-opened his door and stepped up to gee up the crowd??? : Is this not corporatism gone mad??? What a discraceful act on AVESCO's part and particularly the fool that I think wanted more so to feature some sort of self proclaimed power or BAD leadership??? : 747FLI |

There must be something in the Commodore's metal that "pulls" them into the walls of Adelaide! Or just the rocks in those drivers head! *coughs at Murphy going the outside of turn 8*

Did'nt you know Falcon Power did'nt win the race, 888, Betta Electrical and all associated sponsors won. If your on the winners podium its all about sponsorship not car manufactures. |

Heath,
Thanks for your comments. As you note, "888, Betta Electrical and all associated sponsors won". Very true. And one of the associated sponsors for this team is Ford itself. Once again, thanks for your comments! |

Just arrived home from Clipsal and man what a race. It was good to see Craig genuinely happy to see his teammate win. Adelaide sure know how to put on a great Event and it doesn't end when the Racing stops it's a four day and four night Event. Ambrose's old car is coming out of retirement for the race in Melbourne so it will be interesting to see how Jame's goes in it with a number 4 on it's side. :voldar02:
